Experience Overview
The best way to think of creating an experience in Zuzor is like photoshop for interactive experiential content, where each effect is layered on top of one another like you would in photoshop. Zuzor is meant to be used along side your favorite content-creation tool, such as photoshop for jpegs and pngs or final-cut for videos. You're able to insert videos and images directly into effects, either in looking glass or as a particle embellishment. For a high-level overview please look here.
Layers Overview:
The Layers effect allows you to add a layers of static content (like images and videos) into your experience. The experiential content is setup as follows:
1. Background color layer
2. Back Layer
3. Dynamic Content from other effects
4. Front Layer
Note that you can turn any of the layers off.
Adding Your Videos or Images
To add a picture, switch the layer to Image and then press "Choose File" to upload the image you'd like to us. You can upload a jpeg or png, note that you can upload a png with a transparent background to keep the layer below less obscured. Zuzor automatically rescales effects to match the Content Window's display size and ratio, since the Content Window's display ratio may differ from your picture's display ratio you need to set the Fit Mode. The options you have for Fit Mode are:
1. Stretch Fit: stretches the picture or video to fully fit the Content Window's size
2. Fit to Screen Width : matches the picture or video's width to the the Content Window's width. Note that this risks that the picture or video does not cover the very top and very bottom of the Content Window.
3. Fit to Screen Height : matches the picture or video's height to the the Content Window's height. Note that this risks that the picture or video does not cover the very left and very right of the Content Window.
4. Fit to Screen (Aspect Ratio): tries to keep your picture or video's proportions while scaling it to cover your Content Window's ratio.
When adding your picture or video, you can change the opacity and change its scale to customize it for your experience.
